Loop21 provided the exclusive WLAN Entertainment™ at this year’s Eristoff Tracks Urban Art Forms Festival in Wr. Neustadt (Lower Austria). This is a unique system all over the world. The guests connect their own smartphones to the free Loop21-WIFI. Directly, they get current information about their present location – depending on where they are. At the Eristoff Tracks Urban Art Forms Festival, these were Facebook for free, the check in & win button (promotion), line up & map, the current festival info, which drinks are offered and information about the current weather.
Founded in 2004, the Eristoff Tracks Urban Art Forms Festival 2011 turned out to “Europe´s leading audiovisual electronic dance music festival”. The festival takes place in the Arena Nova Playgrounds in Lower Austria. Loop21 installed 5 Entertainment™ locations at the festival to provide its exclusive WLAN Eventainment™ system.

Eventainment™ offers the perfect platform for a direct und interactive B2C communication. A brand or a product can be placed directly on the end-customer’s smartphones. It does not matter, if a guest enjoys a concert, a festival or a car racing. They are already equipped and thanks to the WLAN Eventainment™ system, every display, which is carried in their trouser pocket, becomes a promotional tool. Loop21 installed the unique Location-Based System, called WLAN Eventainment™, on 5 locations during the Eristoff Tracks Urban Art Forms Festival 2011 in Wr. Neustadt (Lower Austria). The locations were situated at the Dogs on Acid Stage, Walk of Frame, Main Stage, Turbo Stage and at the Outdoor Areas.
The goal was to offer the guests of the Festival location-based information via Wi-Fi, branded by Eristoff. Using the Loop21 Eventainment™ software package, each guest could connect with the Wi-Fi and got a Landing Page. This Landing Page was different on each location (location dependant). Depending on where the guest was, they got other information e.g. at Walk of Frame than at the Main Stage.
WLAN Eventainment™ stands for “the right information at the right place”. So, Eristoff used the system for their promotion “Check in & Win” and presented the Line Up. This provided an overview of the acts during the festival. All current acts could be called up at any time directly on the fans’ smartphones. This feature worked on every of the 5 locations of the festival. Beside the specific festival information, the guests could enter Facebook very easily and for free. So, Eristoff forced the social media communication with their customers.
With Loop21 as the operating partner, the Eristoff Tracks Urban Art Forms Festival was technically supported during the installation and the event as well as completely protected concerning legal issues. Thanks to Loop21, modern hardware, the fitting configurations and the technical know-how, the implementation of Loop21 was realised before the beginning of the festival in June 2011.
