More than ever, the providers, who offer public internet access over so-called hotspots, e.g. via Wireless LAN (WLAN), have to consider all legal obligations as well as technical aspects. These needs, such as the security, the compatibility and the capacity are fully met by Loop21.

The Loop21 Hotspot Server Software V.1 is the central element for a multi-client hotspot system. It runs on the Loop21 Hotspot Server, whose hardware is compatible to the software requirements. This high-quality combination serves the stable fundament for a running hotspot system.

The Loop21 hotspot system provides a flexible hotspot management platform which controls the user administration, accounting and logging. The user interface is easy-to-use and serves optimal usability. So, the user can log into the Internet very fast. The system is designed for every common mobile and desktop device. In the back, the system authenticates every single user via their mobile number, authorises them the access (limited by time and/or data tariffs) and logs every activity (time stamps). The Loop21 Server Software provides the essential features, which are necessary, when you provide a state-of-the-art internet hotspot. Prepayment module:

To sell the internet access easily, it is necessary to implement this module. There are various options: voucher lists (for scratch cards), interfaces to payment services (Paypal, MPay24), etc.

Infotainment module:

A brand-new product line of Loop21 is location-based service (LBS). The users are led to an interactive landing page, which can be designed location-dependant. So, customised information is pushed directly to the user’s mobile device.
