Ktorý obyvateľ mesta nesníva o tom, že celé mesto bude pokryté WiFi sieťou? Alebo aspoň niektoré verejné priestranstvá alebo centrum mesta, kde by takáto sieť slúžila aj turistom? Priebeh projektu

Aby sa dosiahlo pokrytie veľkej plochy mesta systémom WiFi, vybudovala spoločnosť Loop21 počas niekoľkých montážnych etáp 18 rádiových staníc. Tím sa zaoberal riešením úloh v súvislosti s vyhodnocovaním situácie priamo na mieste, plánovaním infraštruktúry pre WiFi systém a našiel tiež riešenie pre užívateľov nových systémov hotspot v podobe produktu Loop21 Citytainment™.

S cieľom zabezpečiť pre mesto Schwechat kompletnú právnu ochranu sa spoločnosť Loop21 stala poskytovateľom a súčasne aj prevádzkovateľom internetových služieb.
