Public Wi-Fi is an important marketing tool for cities and municipalities. LOOP21 implemented this project in Lower Austria together with LANCOM SYSTEMS.
The added value is that both digital citizen information and location-based content can be provided for tourism. The user connects to the Wi-Fi, confirms the terms of use and can go online. It can be forwarded to any page or landing page to announce important information such as events or to publish garbage collection dates.
Hotspots with Lancom access points were installed at 7 locations in the city to provide the population with convenient access to the Internet. Among other things, the swimming pool, soccer field, ice rink and library / music school were equipped with a hotspot.
This is the city-wi-fi of LOOP21.
