THE 4****S RESORT HOTEL “DER KRALLERHOF“ TRUSTS WI-FI INFRASTRUCTURE AND MOBILE SERVICES OF LOOP21
Leogang (2016-11-07) – The Austrian IT company LOOP21 modernised the IT infrastructure as well as the range of mobile services for the 4****s resort hotel “der Krallerhof“ and its restaurants Kraller-Alm, alte Schmiede and Asitzbraeu in Leogang, Salzburg, Austria. The new high-class Wi-Fi with Location-Based-Service-Content enables the hotel to make its offers more interesting for their guests.
“The project started with the big challenge to make an initial review. The current setup was not documented. So our experts had to analyse the whole network.” Manuel Urbanek, CEO of LOOP21. „We replaced the outdated Wi-Fi access points by more than 150 high-class LANCOM components and extended the networt to the gastronomic locations. The switch infrastructure was enlarged by state-of-the-art components. The network security is assured by a firewall of Palo Alto.”
For this project LOOP21 is a full-service provider and takes over the planning, configuration, assembly, putting into operations, documentation as well as the running maintenance of the network.
Gerhard Altenberger, managing director of “der Krallerhof”, explains: “With LOOP21 we found a professional partner for the realisation of the project. By implementing location-based services in the single locations we now have the possibility to make the most of the system. Our guests can book their wellness treatments directly from the skiing hut or order drinks to their room – all this is possible with their own mobile device. So we are setting new standards in the hotel industry.”
