Occupancy detection

Mobility Communication System

Mobility Communication System

The LOOP21 Mobility Communication System is used to control and monitor passenger transport routes and also provides the basis for modern passenger services.

A control software is used to operate all functions, which is easy to operate by touch.

Occupancy detection

The system recognizes passengers inside the vehicle and transmits the numbers anonymously to the LOOP21 system. The data is then displayed on the monitor at the station for passengers and operators.

The cabin occupancy can be used individually but also in combination with the light control. When the car approaches a station, the car lights up in green without occupancy, in orange with moderate occupancy and in red with full occupancy.

In the event of an emergency shutdown of the cable car, the empty cabins light up green and red if they are occupied. Even in fog, the occupancy of the cabins is visible. This speeds up evacuation in an emergency.
