CASE STUDY

Service provider with Company Wi-Fi

A service company has commissioned LOOP21 to install a Wi-Fi system to improve communication with and between employees. Together with several departments, the LOOP21 project team worked on a solution that met all needs and wishes.

The top priority was the renewal of the network and the production of a high-end Wi-Fi with quality hardware from the German manufacturer LANCOM. After an inspection of the system and Wi-Fi measurement, the planning and installation of the network began.

The new services for the employees could be found on the landing page. The employee logs into the Wi-Fi network with his end device and personnel number and is immediately forwarded to the landing page. In this landing page he finds various buttons that provide him with the most important information. Important points are the location plan, the contact details of the employees of the various specialist departments, registrations for specialist events and training, news about the company or the reservation of a meeting room.

The LOOP21 project team worked together with the other project partners to achieve common milestones. Among other things, the LOOP21 software development has developed a special SOAP interface that enables communication between the LOOP21 landing pages and the registration page for Internet access, which was supplied by the company’s IT.

The evaluation of the statistics shows an incredible use. After a short time, all employees were on the move in the Wi-Fi and found their way very quickly thanks to the intuitive operation. Processes have been simplified and decision-making processes have become shorter. The responsibilities also became clearer and faster.
